    'Love Me, Love My ADHD' - Children's Book Illustration

    Illustrating a children’s book about ADHD was more than a project—it was an opportunity to work with and be inspired by a wonderful human, Chrissie from Chaos to Calm, to bring her passionate words to life and help kids see and celebrate their strengths.

    The colours I’ve used and the character illustration capture the vibrant, energetic world of ADHD through the daily routine of a child and his family.

    My illustrations together with Chrissie’s words beautifully communicate the unique perspective of the life of a child with ADHD in a way that feels relatable and empowering.

    Brand Collaboration with 'Rudie Nudie'

    “Working” with Jacqui from Rudie Nudie seriously can’t be considered “work”. We always have so much fun with the illustrations, coming up with designs for her products that don’t just look the part and showcase her brand, but also tell a story.

    Together, we have created several designs over the years that delight and capture the imagination of her beautiful audience, as well as represent the heart of the ‘Rudie Nudie’ brand.

    This special collaboration always makes magic happen.

    'All Brains Are Different' - Children's Book Illustration

    Creating illustrations for this special book was an incredible opportunity to collaborate with the exceptional team at ‘Yellow Ladybugs’, and be closely supported by the Victorian Department of Education.

    The project was a welcomed chance to champion neurodiversity and celebrate the beautiful reality that All Brains Are Different. 

    My artwork embraces the beauty of inclusion, with every little detail of the characters and scenes highly considered, to reflect the diverse strengths and experiences of all students, fostering a sense of belonging and understanding in every classroom.

    Working on a project that I consider incredibly important and close to my heart was an honour.

    My Personal Works & Paintings

    Over the years I have recognised my creations have underlining themes of identity, connection, and resilience. The practice of art and creativity keeps me grounded in the chaos

    I am most content when I am working on pieces that are inspired by the australian and in particular Victorian landscape that is reminiscent of where I grew up. Whether it is vast views or close up natives. 

    I am drawn to the colours and patterns of the landscapes which have always calmed my neurodivergent brain. My paintings and drawings are layered with color, texture, lines (depending on my mood, they might sometimes resemble a brown bush dam), and represent the story my brain needs to hear to create a sense of emotional calm.

    I create to keep myself moving forward and hope that it also inspires and delights others.

    As Dory would say… ‘just keep swimming’
